Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit and assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and preparation of working papers. Daily responsibilities include assisting with tax computations and filings, supporting compliance and regulatory reporting, and helping in preparing financial statements and management reports. The role also involves participating in due diligence activities, assisting in advisory assignments such as succession planning and business structuring, and maintaining accurate records and client files. The Articled Assistant will collaborate closely with seniors and partners, engage with clients professionally, and follow internal quality and ethical standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in taxation, including basic direct and indirect tax concepts, return preparation, and compliance understanding.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances or issues.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting or ERP software commonly used in professional practice.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written documentation and professional client interaction.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Enrollment as an Article under a recognized Chartered Accountancy program (e.g., CA Intermediate cleared or as per institute requirements) is required.
- Integrity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
