Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Articled Assistant role based in Mira Bhayandar. The Articled Assistant will support audit engagements, including vouching, verification, documentation, and preparation of working papers under guidance. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns, supporting tax computations, and helping with tax audits and related compliances. The role involves maintaining accounts, preparing schedules and reconciliations, and assisting in drafting financial statements and reports. The Articled Assistant will interact with clients for basic data collection, maintain proper documentation, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. The position also includes research on accounting and tax issues, learning applicable standards and laws, and participating in internal training as required.
Qualifications
- Eligible to register as an Articled Assistant under ICAI regulations; enrollment in CA course (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per applicable scheme).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to work with ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Comfort with MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and willingness to learn accounting and tax software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong willingness to learn audit, taxation, and compliance work.
- Ability to work full time from the Mira Bhayandar office, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Professional attitude, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information.
- Prior internship or basic exposure to audit, accounting, or taxation (if any) will be an added advantage.
