Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, assurance, taxation, and accounting assignments under the supervision of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers and documentation, performing basic tax computations, and supporting compliance filings. The role involves maintaining accurate records, conducting preliminary research on accounting and tax issues, and coordinating with clients for information and clarifications. The Articled Assistant will also help in preparing reports, schedules, and reconciliations and will be expected to learn and apply firm methodologies and professional standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with required eligibility to undertake articleship training.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
- Ability to work with MS Excel, Word, and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting and audit software is an advantage.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, manage time, and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Prior internship or practical experience in a CA firm is beneficial but not mandatory.
