Role Description The Articled Assistant will work full time on-site in Hyderabad, supporting audit and assurance engagements under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include assisting with statutory and internal audits, performing test checks, reviewing financial records, and preparing working papers and documentation. The role involves supporting tax compliance and advisory work, including GST and income tax assignments, as well as participating in due diligence, valuations, and other consulting projects as required. The Articled Assistant will coordinate with clients to collect information, help draft reports and summaries, and ensure timely completion of assignments in line with professional standards and firm policies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or eligible for Chartered Accountancy articleship with a recognized professional body.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and basic direct and indirect tax concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and comfort working with accounting or ERP software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
- High level of integrity, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and professional development.
- Prior internship or exposure to audit, accounting, or finance environments will be an added advantage.
