Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Articled Assistant based in Gurugram. The Articled Assistant will be responsible for assisting with audits, preparing financial statements, filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, analyzing financial data, and contributing to corporate restructuring, valuations, and financial planning processes. Candidates will work directly with senior team members and gain hands-on experience in a variety of financial and business domains.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial analysis, preparation of financial statements, and auditing practices
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, as well as compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements
- Strong skills in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliation
- Proficiency with modern tools and software related to auditing, accounting, and financial management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field; enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy program is preferred
- Previous experience or internships in a chartered accountancy firm is a plus
