Role Description The Articled Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based at the New Delhi head office. The Articled Assistant will support audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and preparation of working papers under the supervision of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with income tax and GST compliance, return preparation, and basic tax research, as well as helping with accountant certifications and business formation documentation. The role involves maintaining accurate records, organizing client files, coordinating with clients for required information, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. The Articled Assistant will also be expected to stay updated with relevant accounting, auditing, and tax regulations and actively participate in internal training and learning activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be registered as CA students under ICAI and eligible to undertake articleship training.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation (income tax and GST).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting or tax software is desirable.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn, accept responsibility, and work diligently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Prior internship or practical experience in an accounting or CA firm will be an added advantage.
