Role Description The CA Articled Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, supporting accounting and bookkeeping activities, and helping prepare financial statements and working papers. The Articled Assistant will also be involved in tax computation and filing, documentation, and maintaining compliance records under applicable laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with team members, visiting client locations as required, gathering and verifying financial data, and preparing reports and schedules under guidance from senior professionals. The role offers practical training aligned with professional course requirements and exposure to a variety of client engagements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be registered or eligible to register as Articled Assistants under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), or pursuing a recognized professional accounting qualification.
- Candidates should exhibit clear written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a professional approach to client interaction.
- Candidates should be willing to learn, adapt to structured timelines, and manage multiple assignments while maintaining confidentiality.
