Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit and assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and preparation of working papers under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, helping with internal control reviews, and contributing to tax computations and compliance filings. The role also involves participating in consulting assignments, conducting basic financial and industry research, and preparing draft reports and presentations for clients. The Articled Assistant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain organized records, and adhere to professional and ethical standards in all client interactions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation, with the ability to apply relevant standards and regulations in practical scenarios.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, working with spreadsheets, and preparing structured working papers and reports.
- Effective research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze client data, identify issues, and support the development of solutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members and documenting findings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines during peak compliance and audit periods.
- Comfort with commonly used office and finance-related software; familiarity with audit and accounting tools is an advantage.
- Enrollment in or completion of professional qualifications such as CA articleship eligibility; relevant commerce or finance degree preferred.
- Commitment to professional ethics, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a demanding professional services environment.
