Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Articled Assistant role based in Jaipur & Bengaluru. The Articled Assistant will support audit and assurance engagements, including planning, execution, vouching, verification, and documentation of work papers under supervision. Daily responsibilities include maintaining books of accounts, assisting in preparation and finalization of financial statements, and supporting statutory, internal, and tax audits. The role involves working on direct and indirect tax compliances such as preparing tax computations, assisting in filing returns, and helping with assessments and appeals. The Articled Assistant will contribute to company law and secretarial compliance support, preparation of reports and presentations for clients, and basic research on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters. The role also includes regular coordination with clients, timely completion of assignments, and adherence to professional and ethical standards set by the firm and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Qualifications
- Candidates should be registered or eligible to register as Articled Assistants with ICAI (completion of required CA Foundation/Intermediate level as per ICAI regulations).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation concepts, including income tax and GST fundamentals.
- Familiarity with audit procedures, documentation standards, and working papers.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting/tax software; willingness to learn new tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Ability to analyze data, pay close attention to detail, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Strong willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively in a structured team environment.
