Role Description
This is an on-site internship role based in Kolkata for an Article Trainee. The Article Trainee will assist in tasks such as preparing financial statements, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, performing tax computations, and assisting with tax filings. Additional responsibilities include bookkeeping, preparing reports, and supporting senior team members in financial analysis and strategic decision-making processes. The role offers a valuable learning experience in a professional and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles, financial statements, and auditing practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with tax computation software.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to handle numerical data accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team-oriented professional setting.
- Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) or related qualification is required; knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adaptability, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
