Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Article Trainee located in Mumbai. The Article Trainee will gain hands-on experience with audits, financial reporting, tax compliance, and GST-related procedures. Daily responsibilities include assisting in audits, preparing financial statements, conducting tax computations, managing statutory filings, and supporting senior professionals in meeting client engagements. The role offers opportunities to learn and grow in various domains of accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
Qualifications
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Knowledge of audit procedures and basic skills related to statutory and internal audits
- Familiarity with taxation matters, including direct and indirect taxes, and GST compliance
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and MS Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Good verbal and written communication abilities
- Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy course and completion of foundation or intermediate level exams
- Interest in pursuing a structured pathway toward becoming a Chartered Accountant
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines
