Role Description
The Article Trainee will assist in performing audits, preparing financial statements, filing income tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws such as GST and other statutory regulations. They will also be involved in the examination of client records to identify areas for improvement and assist in documentation and report preparation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, providing an opportunity to gain practical exposure to various aspects of accounting, auditing, and taxation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Auditing principles
- Understanding of Income Tax, GST, and compliance-related matters
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and financial analysis
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Currently pursuing or having completed Chartered Accountancy qualifications with the ICAI
- Basic knowledge of software tools such as MS Office and accounting software is a plus
