Role Description The Article Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The trainee will get hands on experience across multiple areas, including Statutory Audits of Listed Entities, IPO related services and assignments, Income Tax- Compliance, Assessments and Advisory, Statutory and Tax Audits, GST compliance and various other areas of Advisory. The trainee will help in RERA-related assignments, accounting, financial reporting, and other corporate compliance activities, including drafting reports and maintaining client records. The role involves learning and applying relevant accounting standards, using firm-approved software tools, coordinating with clients for information, and adhering to professional ethics and timelines.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or eligible for Chartered Accountancy articleship under ICAI regulations, with a solid foundation in accounting and taxation principles.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and understand audit and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software; comfort with learning new digital tools and technology-driven processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Prior internship or exposure in audit, taxation, or accounting will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
