Role Description The Article Trainee will support the finance and advisory teams with research, documentation, and client engagement activities in a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, Haryana. Daily responsibilities may include assisting in audits, preparing working papers, compiling financial data, and supporting taxation and compliance work under the guidance of qualified professionals. The role also involves drafting reports, maintaining accurate records, and helping to analyze client business processes and financial performance. The Article Trainee will collaborate closely with senior team members, follow established standards and regulatory requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is designed to provide structured learning, professional mentoring, and practical exposure in a dynamic, multi-service environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting, with a strong interest in building a career in professional services.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn specialized financial or accounting software as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and working papers.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret numeric and qualitative data for decision support.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a structured environment.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond constructively to feedback, and maintain professionalism in client interactions.
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant professional course (such as CA, ACCA, or similar) or a degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Agra and commit to the training period, with openness to continuous learning and adherence to ethical standards.
