Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
● Maintain day-to-day books of accounts for clients across industries using Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9
● Record and reconcile transactions including revenue, expenses, payables, and receivables
● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
● Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny
● Manage accounts for diverse entities — companies, firms, proprietorships, and individuals
GST Compliance
● Prepare and file GST returns: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C for multiple clients
● Reconcile GST data with books and identify eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC)
● Handle GST notices, queries, and coordinate with the GST portal for rectifications
● Apply knowledge of sector-specific GST rates and exemptions as applicable to each client
Income Tax Compliance
● Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for corporate and individual clients
● Compute advance tax liabilities and ensure timely deposit for all applicable clients
● Prepare income tax workings, depreciation schedules, and computation statements
● Support in income tax assessments, scrutiny notices, and response drafting
TDS Compliance
● Deduct and deposit TDS on applicable payments under relevant sections (194C, 194J, 194I, 194H, etc.)
● Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns: Form 24Q, 26Q, and 27Q
● Generate and issue Form 16 / 16A to deductees in a timely manner
● Reconcile TDS data with books, Form 26AS, and AIS statements for all clients
MCA & ROC Compliance
● Assist in annual MCA filings: AOC-4, MGT-7, and DIR-3 KYC for client companies
● Prepare documents for board meetings, resolutions, and statutory registers
● Coordinate with clients for timely collection of required data for MCA compliance
● Monitor ROC compliance calendar and ensure zero-default filing across the client portfolio
Financial Operations & Client Support
● Assist clients in managing cash flows, payment scheduling, and payables management
● Prepare budgets, variance analysis, and cost-control summaries as required by clients
● Coordinate with client management teams for data collection, approvals, and reporting
● Support seniors in audit preparation, documentation, and financial reviews

Technical Skills
● Proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 — voucher entry, ledger creation, and report generation
● Strong MS Excel skills — VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF/IFS formulas, and data reconciliation
● Working knowledge of GST portal, TRACES, Income Tax e-filing portal, and MCA21 portal
● Understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS / AS) relevant to the level of qualification
Domain Knowledge
● Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions applicable to diverse business types
● Awareness of Companies Act compliance requirements and MCA filing procedures
● Ability to handle accounts for multiple entity types: companies, LLPs, firms, and individuals
● Exposure to sector-specific nuances — including hospitality, trading, services, and others — is a plus
Soft Skills
● High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
● Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
● Good written and verbal communication for effective client coordination
● Self-motivated, quick learner with a team-oriented approach
Eligibility & Qualifications
CA - Inter
Passed IPCC / CA Intermediate level of ICAI. Prior articleship or practical experience in accounting or taxation is preferred.
Semi-Qualified CA
Partially qualified CA with hands-on experience in accounting, GST, TDS, or MCA compliance. Strong practical knowledge of Tally and Excel is essential.
CA Article
ICAI-registered article assistant (fresher or transferee). Will be guided by senior CAs, given structured exposure to client accounts, and assigned increasing responsibilities over time.
