Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Article Trainee at A.R. Sodha & Co., located in Mumbai. The Article Trainee will assist with audits, tax filings, financial analysis, and advisory services under the guidance of senior professionals. Responsibilities will include preparing reports, conducting research on regulatory frameworks, and supporting compliance processes. The role requires excellent time management and a proactive approach to supporting the firm's operations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience using financial software
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interaction
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced professional environment
- Enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy course (under the ICAI) is required
- Prior internship or practical training experience in accounting or auditing is an advantage
