Role Description The Article Assistant will support Chartered Accountants in audit, taxation, and consulting assignments on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, performing basic financial and tax analysis, and helping draft reports and documentation. The role also involves maintaining client files, coordinating data collection, and learning to use accounting and audit-related software under supervision. The Article Assistant will be expected to follow professional standards, deadlines, and internal processes while developing technical and practical knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Progress toward Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification, with required eligibility for articleship as per ICAI regulations.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, taxation, and corporate laws.
- Ability to perform detailed work, analyze financial data, and prepare accurate working papers and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn audit and accounting software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Good time management, organizational skills, and ability to work diligently under supervision and meet timelines.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to modern tools and methodologies, and build a long-term career in audit, taxation, and consulting.
