Role Description The Article Assistant will work full time on-site at the Jaipur office, supporting audit, assurance, and taxation assignments under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits, preparing working papers and schedules, performing vouching and verification, and supporting documentation for TEV, IS, and other specialized studies. The role involves compiling and analyzing financial data, helping in the preparation of reports and audit findings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax standards. The Article Assistant will coordinate with clients to gather required information, maintain organized records, and contribute to process improvements within the engagement teams. The position offers structured learning, exposure to diverse industries, and practical training aligned with professional qualification requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation principles, with the ability to apply relevant standards and regulations in practical assignments.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting, ERP, or audit software is an advantage.
- Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support audit procedures, special studies, and financial reviews.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for preparing working papers, reports, and client correspondence.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines in a structured, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, collaborate with multiple teams, and adapt to dynamic client and engagement requirements.
- Enrolment as an Article Assistant under ICAI, or eligibility to register; pursuing CA or a related professional qualification is preferred.
- Prior internship or exposure in audit, accounting, or finance domains is beneficial but not mandatory.
