Role Description The Article Assistant will support the firm’s accounting, audit, taxation, and advisory engagements under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers and documentation, supporting GST and income tax compliance, and helping with financial reporting under applicable standards. The role also involves data compilation, basic analytical reviews, maintaining organized files, and contributing to internal control and risk assessment exercises. The Article Assistant will be encouraged to learn and apply professional standards, stay updated on regulatory changes, and participate in client interactions where appropriate. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur.
Qualifications
- Enrollment as a CA Article trainee (as per ICAI requirements) and progress in CA coursework or equivalent professional program.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and direct/indirect tax regulations, with interest in areas like GST, tax audits, and statutory audits.
- Ability to work with financial data, prepare schedules and reconciliations, and use MS Excel and other common office tools efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accurate documentation and compliance with professional standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with team members and respond professionally to client queries.
- Eagerness to learn ESG, regulatory, and reporting frameworks (such as US GAAP, IFRS, IND AS) and to adapt to technology-driven tools in finance and compliance.
- Capacity to work full time from the Jaipur office, manage deadlines, and contribute positively in a collaborative, ethics-driven environment.
