About the role
Provide advanced engineering design service and support to regional engineering team for RF, wireless, communication & connectivity components for product development.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, cellular) and wired technologies (e.g., Ethernet, fiber optics, USB).
Conduct RF simulations and model system-level performance to ensure designs meet specifications for frequency, gain, noise figure, and other critical parameters.
Implement advanced testing methodologies to evaluate RF performance metrics such as signal integrity, power efficiency, and interference management.
Stay current with emerging RF technologies, standards, and industry trends, providing innovative solutions and recommendations for product development.
Support the development and validation of reference designs to meet customer requirement.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
Attend technical and sales training in efforts to stay abreast of current technology.
Ensure accurate documentation of engineering designs and solutions for future reference.
