The 4Kids4Families Permanency Supervisor coordinates efforts to ensure the well-being and stability of children in foster care. They will oversee a team of caseworkers and social workers, providing guidance, supervision, and support to facilitate the development of permanent placements for children. This critical role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of children and families.

Min: USD $65,000.00/Yr. Max: USD $70,000.00/Yr. Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Supervise a team of support staff, caseworkers, and social workers, providing direction, guidance, and support.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss cases, share best practices, and ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
  • Review and assess the progress of cases, ensuring that children in foster care are receiving appropriate services and support.
  • Makes casework decisions regarding the removal and placement of children and works with county and district attorneys on legal measures to initiate Child Protective Services cases.
  • Collaborate with caseworkers to develop, implement, and monitor individualized permanency plans for each child.
  • Lead efforts to establish and maintain relationships with birth families, foster families, and adoptive families.
  • Facilitate family team meetings, court hearings, and other processes to achieve timely permanency goals.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for caseworkers to enhance their skills and knowledge in permanency planning.
  • Address and resolve crises or emergencies involving children and families under your supervision.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including government agencies, adoption agencies, and community organizations.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
  • May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required. 2-3 years of experience in child welfare, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role also required. Master’s degree in related field preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of foster care and adoption laws, regulations, and best practices.
