Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Day Driver Queenslie Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? If "YES" we want to hear from you!! The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves: Collecting and delivering customers products on a curtain sided or flatbed trailer, which will include a great deal of load security using ratchet straps. Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork. Planning route on a day to day basis. Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations. Attending regular training sessions. Essential skills required for Class 1 Day Driver: Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Driving Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. ADR licence is preferred but not essential. Experience in flatbed steel and pipe works is preferred. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines. Confident, polite and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
