Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for Large Corporate Property

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. 
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers will ensure unauthorized individuals to not gain access to the property, ensuring the property is secure at all times.

Shifts:
Saturday - - - 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Sunday - - - 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Monday - - - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Tuesday - - - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wednesday - - - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current with BSIS Compliance
  • i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
  • 32-hour continuing education certificates
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
• Valid Drivers license
• Grave shift experience
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
