About the position: Arkana Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renal Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Renal Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in the accurate diagnosis and classification of renal diseases, contributing to improved patient care and treatment strategies. You will provide professional pathology services for which Physician is qualified at any of the Company's medical facilities or at any other location requested by the Company ("the Medical Office") in accordance with the recognized professional standard of care and the bylaws of Company.

What you'll do:

  • Provides professional pathology services to Company on an exclusive and full-time basis and to devote full time and attention, together with best endeavors and skills, for the interest, benefit and best advantage of Company.
  • Provides on-call coverage after regular business hours in coordination with other physicians on the medical staff of Company, in accordance with a schedule established by Company in consultation with the medical staff.
  • Keeps timely, complete and accurate records of all services provided hereunder in accordance with all Company, professional, governmental, third-party payer and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ("CLIA") and College of American Pathologists ("CAP") recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
  • Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Arkansas and any other state requested by Company where such licensure is necessary for performance of services.
  • Maintains in good standing and without restriction Medicare and Medicaid provider numbers, and enroll and maintain status as a participating provider in any networks or groups as reasonably requested by Company from time to time.
  • Maintains any and all board certifications and registrations as may be necessary to provide the services required and/or which Physician has or maintains as of the effective date of employment.
  • Complies with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations regulating the provision of professional healthcare services.
  • Faithfully adheres to all professional ethics and customs, avoid all acts, habits and usages which might injure in any way, directly or indirectly, the professional reputation of Company.

You should have:

Education: Successful completion of renal pathology fellowship.

Successful completion of a program of study resulting in an M.D., or foreign equivalent, and with successful completion of all USMLE steps.

Experience: Completion of a residency in the specialty in which physician will practice.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required and proficient in MS Office and Excel skills.

Requirements: Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology.
