Requires graduation from FBI Fingerprint Classification School or coursework in fingerprint identification, criminalistics, and evidence technology plus 2 years fingerprint identification experience (1 year in AFIS operations). Associate degree in criminal justice may substitute for 1 year experience. Must obtain ACJIS and AZAFIS certifications within 6 months.
