Google Intern | Remote Software Engineer

Within the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), the Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology office (ASET) has a mission to deliver forward thinking and secure IT solutions to state agencies through the expertise of a passionate and skilled workforce committed to superior customer service. This is fueled by a vision to become the information technology leader for Arizona government, providing innovative and transformative services. ASET is currently looking for an innovative, driven IT Intern to research, understand and evaluate department business workflows which are dependent on Microsoft Office products for the purposes of automation and Google Workspace integration. This position will design and build simple and efficient business workflows, leveraging Google Workspace and Google developer tools Apps Script, AppSheet, and Data Studio. This position will also support Google Workspace adoption/transformation for Arizona state agencies. The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. Across our many agencies, boards, and commissions, many State employees participate in the State's Remote Work Program and are able to work remotely in their homes, in offices, and in hoteling spaces. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.
