<strong>The Opportunity<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We are specifically seeking a caregiver to support a local Veteran. This is a consistent weekend shift that allows you to build a genuine rapport while utilizing your professional skills.<br><br>

<strong>Schedule:</strong> Saturdays & Sundays | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Pay:</strong> $23.00 per hour<br><br>
</li>

<strong>Location:</strong> Long Grove, IL<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><div>In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure our client remains safe and comfortable at home. Duties include:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>
<strong>Advanced Mobility Support:</strong> Safe transfers using a <strong>Hoyer Lift</strong> (Required).<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Personal Care:</strong> Assistance with bathing, grooming, and incontinence care.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Specialized Care:</strong> Providing support for Alzheimer’s and Dementia needs.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Daily Living:</strong> Medication reminders, light housekeeping, and laundry.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Companionship:</strong> Engaging in conversation and providing a positive environment for a Veteran.<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>
<strong>Hoyer Lift Experience:</strong> Must be proficient and comfortable with mechanical lift transfers.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>CNA Certification:</strong> Preferred (HHA, PCA, or LPN experience also welcomed).<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Reliability:</strong> Must be 21+ years of age with a proven track record of dependability.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Physical Ability:</strong> Must be able to lift over 25 lbs.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Transportation:</strong> Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if driving your own vehicle) OR a proven ability to use public transportation reliably.<br><br>
</li>
<li>
<strong>Mindset:</strong> Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about home care.<br><br>
