Fullstack Engineer

About the role: In this role, your focus will be working across the stack with internal teams and external customers to build novel user experiences across our product suite. You will work closely with real users in many different countries to imagine and define what human-computer interaction looks and feels like in an age of active learning AI. Your goal will be enabling our users to understand the impact & performance of our deployed machine learning systems in new and novel ways that are not only effective, but inspiring. Our engineering team works directly with customers to solve complex, mission-critical challenges using Arena’s cutting-edge products and technologies. Engineers own the full solution lifecycle—from problem identification, designing and implementing data-driven solutions, to demonstrating their value in real-world scenarios. By addressing specific customer challenges, you will play a pivotal role in refining and scaling Arena’s products, contributing to their broader adoption and success. You will: Prototype and build UX/UI that communicates your product ideas at the right level of fidelity, including collaborating on API design and data modeling to reach those outcomes Forward deploy both domestically and internationally up to 50% of your time. Embody deep user empathy to partner with designers, engineers, scientists, and customers, ensuring that our AI techniques and technologies translate into scalable tools, services, and customer experiences Employ a variety of languages, libraries, and frameworks, and tools to push the status quo of product - we use react, node, typescript, Figma, tailwind, framer motion, and more Apply your principles of design, engineering, and product across the full stack of our systems You Have: 2+ years of professional experience post-graduation in software engineering or a related field. Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts. Proven ability to write clean, efficient code. Instinct to break down complex problems into small building blocks. Strong communication skills with empathy for end-users, ensuring usability across UI, API, and SDKs. A high bar for product aesthetics and functionality
