Job Purpose

The role is responsible for driving business growth by sourcing high-value construction finance loans from mid-range, small and emerging builders across North India. The role focuses on identifying developers requiring funding of average ticket size of 3 Crores, ensuring a consistent monthly pipeline of at least 10 qualified files.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sourcing

  • Identify and onboard mid-range, small and emerging developers across North India for Construction Finance requirements
  • Deliver a monthly sourcing target of 10+ loan files with a average ticket size of 3 Crores per case
  • Develop and manage a robust network of channel partners, connectors and market influencers to ensure high-quality leads
  • Conduct initial project screening to ensure alignment with company credit appetite regarding project feasibility and developer execution capability

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for developers, guiding them through the end-to-end loan application process
  • Understand developer financial needs and pitch appropriate loan structures, focusing on project cash flows and sales velocity
  • Maintain long-term relationships with borrowers to facilitate repeat business and annual portfolio reviews

3. Application Processing & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Gather all necessary due diligence documents for the preparation of Credit Appraisal Memos
  • Liaise with internal Credit, Legal and Technical teams to ensure timely property valuations and legal clearances
  • Manage client expectations regarding TAT while ensuring all credit requirements are met for smooth processing

4. Market Intelligence & Region Focus

  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and emerging real estate hubs within the North India region
  • Identify regional risks such as sales slowdowns or regulatory changes that could impact builder creditworthiness

5. Post-Sourcing Support

  • Coordinate with operations and business teams for smooth disbursement and Post-Disbursement Document (PDD) compliance
  • Assist the Risk team in tracking project progress and construction stages for existing borrowers

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Commerce Graduate / MBA (Finance or Marketing preferred)
  • Experience: 6–10 years in Sales, specifically in Construction Finance, Mortgages, or Project Funding
  • Industry Preference: HFCs / NBFCs with an established network in North India
  • Skills: Strong understanding of project cash flows, local real estate regulations (RERA) and the ability to evaluate developer market reputation
