Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Area Service Manager role based in Patna. The Area Service Manager oversees service operations for assigned territories, ensuring timely installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems, inverters, and batteries. Responsibilities include managing service teams, monitoring performance against service targets, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating with dealers and distributors, handling escalated service issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency. The Area Service Manager also prepares regular reports, tracks key service metrics, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service management or after-sales support, ideally in energy solutions, electrical equipment, or related industries.
- Strong skills in team leadership, performance monitoring, and resource planning.
- Ability to analyze service data, identify root causes of issues, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent customer relationship management and conflict-resolution skills.
- Sound understanding of basic electrical or power systems; experience with solar solutions, inverters, or batteries is an advantage.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, technology, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required and work on-site in Patna.
