Job Summary:**
The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for the company's pharmaceutical products.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and KPIs for the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to expand market penetration and increase product visibility.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the designated area.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, hospital administrators, and distributors.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess customer needs, monitor competitor activities, and identify market trends.
- Present and promote company products effectively, highlighting their features and benefits to healthcare professionals.
- Organize and participate in medical camps, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and other promotional events.
- Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market dynamics, product performance, and customer insights.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers as per company policies.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and expense statements.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in a similar role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and healthcare industry.
- Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
