Job Summary**
The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets within a designated geographical area, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring effective market penetration for the company's pharmaceutical products.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for pharmaceutical products within the designated area.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including engaging with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies.
- Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular visits, effective communication, and providing excellent service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals, effectively communicating product features and benefits.
- Manage and track sales performance, preparing regular reports for management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding receivables within the assigned territory.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to support product launches and promotional activities.
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as required.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
