Area Sales OfficerArea Sales Officer
Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking an Area Sales Officer to drive sales and achieve targets within a designated territory, fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals and channel partners.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products and territory.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share and product reach.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, clinics, and pharmacies to promote products and provide scientific information.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing timely feedback to management.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance.
- Organize and participate in medical camps, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and other promotional events.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding dues within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate effectively with marketing and medical teams to support product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in a similar therapeutic area.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
