Job Summary**
The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area through effective sales strategies and strong customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for pharmaceutical products.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, clinics, and pharmacies to promote products and secure orders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Manage and optimize product distribution channels within the assigned territory.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Participate in sales meetings, product training sessions, and continuous professional development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
