Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Shimla for an Area Sales Manager at Paytm. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and managing sales operations in the assigned area, driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and merchants, and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. The Area Sales Manager will also lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve organizational goals while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and negotiation
- Proficiency in building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team effectively
- Data analysis and reporting skills for tracking sales performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of the local market in Shimla, and a good understanding of fintech and payment solutions is a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing large volumes of transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
