Role Description
The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, Mumbai, or Gurgaon. This position involves developing and executing sales strategies to achieve regional sales goals. The successful candidate will identify and acquire new business opportunities, develop client relationships, monitor market trends, and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role also includes leading and mentoring a sales team, preparing sales forecasts and performance reports, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance sales initiatives and achieve targets.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in sales strategy development, lead generation, and business development
- Strong relationship-building, client management, and team leadership abilities
- Knowledge of market research, competitor analysis, and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in sales-related software and CRM tools
- Ability to set and achieve sales targets and performance goals
- Flexible and adaptive mindset with a focus on achieving results
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in a sales leadership role within the relevant industry is a plus
