Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, based in Mumbai. The Area Sales Manager will focus on developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and maintaining client relationships. Primary responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, monitoring market trends, meeting sales targets, reporting on sales performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and distributors to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and business development, with a strong ability to identify new market opportunities in HORECA industry is a must
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
- Strategic thinking, data analysis, and sales forecasting capabilities
- Proficient in managing a sales team, monitoring targets, and training team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and regional languages is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the region, in line with the role responsibilities
- Prior experience in the food and beverages or FMCG industry will be an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is preferred
