Role Overview
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales and business development for the Medical Simulation and Skill Lab product portfolio across the assigned territory. The role involves customer engagement, product demonstrations, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for the Medical Simulation and Skill Lab product portfolio.
- Promote and sell simulation products to hospitals, medical colleges, nursing institutions, and healthcare training centers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with customers to incorporate product specifications into tenders.
- Track and manage government and institutional tender opportunities.
- Prepare and submit tender documents in compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate with OEM partners, technical teams, and service team for project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Generate leads from upcoming projects, institutions, and healthcare infrastructure developments.
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and academic events.
- Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy receivables.
- Update CRM records and maintain accurate sales data.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.
- Provide customer and market feedback to management and OEM partners.

- Proven experience in medical device or healthcare equipment sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- Result-oriented with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc.), B.Tech, BBA, or B.Pharm
- MBA will be an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in medical instruments or healthcare equipment
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in anaesthesia, critical care, ultrasound, imaging, or surgical equipment
