About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales operations across Kolkata and nearby regions. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, strengthening distribution networks, and expanding our footprint in the cosmetics and personal care market.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory
• Appoint, train, and manage distributors, stockists, and retailers
• Drive primary and secondary sales through effective planning and execution
• Execute product launches, promotions, and market activation strategies
• Track competitor activity and share actionable market insights
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the distribution network
• Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve performance goals
• Ensure strong product visibility and availability across general trade
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly MIS reports to the Regional Sales Manager
Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate / MBA (preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in cosmetics sales, with at least 2 years in Kolkata/West Bengal
• Strong understanding of distributor and retailer networks in the region
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills
