Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager - LAP (Indore) will be responsible for driving sales and business development for Loan Against Property products within the Indore region. This role involves managing a team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed Loan Against Property (LAP) sales targets in the Indore region.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market share in the LAP segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and competitive trends.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business plans to senior management.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient processing of loan applications.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as credit and operations, to ensure smooth end-to-end processing of loans.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within the financial services industry, specifically with Loan Against Property (LAP) products.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the LAP market, products, and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Local market knowledge of Indore is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
