Job Summary**
The Area Sales Manager - LAP (Loan Against Property) will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within the designated Bengaluruu region. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing a team of sales executives, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales strategies for LAP products.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Loan Against Property products in the Bengaluruu area.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing regular training, performance feedback, and support to ensure optimal team performance.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, builders, real estate agents, and other potential sources of business.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitive landscape, and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to lending and sales.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and qualification to sanctioning and disbursement of loans.
- Address customer queries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with Loan Against Property products.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the LAP market in Bengaluruu, including local regulations and competitive landscape.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
