Profile Objective:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and managing the sales operations for the frozen
food category in the assigned State. The role includes overseeing general trade and modern trade
channels, ensuring product availability, increasing market share, expanding distribution, and leading a
team of sales personnel to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Hotel, Restaurant, and Café/Catering, GT & MT channels focused on Frozen
food products.
2. Manage a portfolio of existing hospitality and food service industry, GT & MT Clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
3. Appoint and manage distributors, including performance reviews and ROI analysis. and optimize
inventory and reduce wastage or expiry of frozen SKUs.
4. Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, monitor competition, and assess
market trends.
5. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
6. Monitor sales performance, forecast demand, and report on KPIs regularly.
7. Provide product training and support to customers to ensure optimal product usage and
satisfaction.
8. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
9. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and customer
engagement strategies.
10. Ensure compliance with pricing policies and credit terms
Requirements :-
• Any Graduate / MBA/PGDBM with specialisation in Marketing / Sales
• Should be Fluent in Malayalam, English, Hindi
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HORECA, GT & MT Sales in Tier I or II Companies.
• At least 5-7 Years of experience in HORECA, GT, MT Sales in Frozen food categories/ brands or
in the same category of products.
