As we expand our offline presence across Bangalore, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager who can drive retail growth, build strong distributor relationships, and scale offline sales channels.
Role OverviewThe Area Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the brand’s offline retail presence across Bangalore through distributors, retail stores, modern trade, and general trade channels.
This role requires someone who understands the beauty/cosmetics market, has strong market relationships, and can take ownership of revenue growth in their territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offline Sales & Market Expansion- Drive sales growth across assigned territories in Bangalore
- Expand the brand’s presence in:
- Cosmetic stores
- Beauty retailers
- Modern trade
- General trade
- Pharmacies (if applicable)
- Identify and onboard new distributors and retail partners
2. Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Distributors
- Retailers
- Store owners
- Channel partners
- Ensure healthy stock movement and repeat orders
3. Sales Planning & Execution- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Monitor product movement, stock availability, and visibility in stores
- Coordinate with internal teams for product supply and promotions
4. Market Intelligence- Track competitor activity, pricing, and product placements
- Provide insights on market trends and customer preferences
- Identify opportunities for expansion and growth
5. Brand Visibility- Ensure proper product display and merchandising across stores
- Coordinate offline activations, sampling, and retail promotions where required
Requirements- 3–6 years of experience in offline sales within:
- Cosmetics
- Beauty
- Personal care
- FMCG
- Strong network within Bangalore retail/distribution ecosystem
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and drive territory growth
