Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for an Area Sales Manager in the FMCG sector. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance within the assigned territory, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the effective implementation of sales strategies. Key responsibilities include managing and developing a team of sales representatives, analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, setting and achieving sales targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Sales and negotiation skills with experience in managing and meeting revenue targets
- Team management and leadership capabilities, including mentoring and performance evaluation
- Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities
- Effective communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within sales and distribution
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a results-driven approach
