Hiring: Area Sales Manager (Bengaluru) – Cardiac Device Division

The Role
We are looking for a high-impact Area Sales Manager to lead our Cardiac Device Division across Bangalore. In this leadership role, you will own the end-to-end business for our cardiology portfolio, driving revenue growth and market share while managing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
● Business Leadership: Own and drive the end-to-end business for the cardiology portfolio across Kerala, achieving revenue, market share, and profitability goals.
● Team Management: Lead, manage, coach, and recruit a team of Territory Sales Executives, monitoring performance through regular field visits and reviews.
● Market Strategy: Develop and execute territory business plans and growth strategies, identifying new opportunities by onboarding new hospitals.
● KOL & Account Management: Build strong relationships with senior cardiologists and hospital management, developing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for advocacy and training initiatives.
● Clinical & Product Advocacy: Drive product penetration for high-value items (such as DES stents and TAVI) and lead new product launches.
● Operational Excellence: Forecast sales, manage budgets, and ensure pricing discipline, contract management, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Required Skills & Competencies
● Experience: 5–8 years in medical device sales, with a strong preference for Cardiology.
● Leadership: Minimum 2–3 years of team handling experience with a proven track record of achieving high-value sales targets.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biomedical, or Pharmacy. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is strongly preferred.
● Clinical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cardiology products, market dynamics, and handling high-value portfolios like DES stents and TAVI.
● Network: An established network with leading cardiologists and hospital chains, with exposure to multi-city or cluster management.
● Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a high business ownership mindset.
