Role Description
We are seeking a full-time on-site Area Sales Manager - Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) to join our South India team. In this role, you will be responsible
- Drive sales & business development of AWP products across South India
- Identify new business opportunities in various sectors.
- Achieve regional sales targets and profitability goals.
- Conduct product demos, site visits, and techno-commercial discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project owners, and consultants.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and after-sales support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 5-10 years in AWP/construction equipment/material handling equipment sales, client relationship management, and business development.
- In-depth knowledge of Aerial Work Platforms and industrial equipment.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in market analysis and developing sales strategies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with teams and clients.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the southern region.
- Technical understanding of hydraulic and construction equipment is an advantage.
