Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Vishakhapatnam. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing sales operations within their designated area. Responsibilities also include analyzing market trends, supervising sales teams, and developing strategies to grow market share and revenue. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with company objectives is essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, with experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proficient in market analysis, strategic planning, and reporting
- Experience in sales team leadership and the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively
- Working knowledge of the ophthalmic lens industry or similar sectors is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated area
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
