Job Description
Vaku Luxos is looking for an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager – GT to manage and expand our presence in the General Trade market across Kolkata and nearby regions. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the mobile accessories or similar consumer electronics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve area-wise sales targets
- Manage and grow distributor and retailer network in the GT market
- Appoint new distributors and onboard new retail outlets
- Ensure product visibility, availability, and merchandising at retail counters
- Conduct regular market visits and strengthen relationships with key partners
- Monitor secondary sales, stock movement, and collections
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Train and guide sales executives to improve productivity and performance
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and share insights with management
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in GT sales, preferably in mobile accessories / consumer electronics
- Strong knowledge of the Kolkata and West Bengal GT market
- Proven experience in distributor handling and channel sales
- Good communication, negotiation, and team management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
