With products across Ayurvedic healthcare, wellness, herbal drinks and FMCG-style categories, Utkarsh Ayurved is working to expand its presence in new markets through practitioner networks, retail channels and distributor development.
Role Description
This is a full-time field sales role for an Area Sales Manager - Delhi NCR.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the Delhi NCR market for Utkarsh Ayurved products. The role includes visiting Ayurvedic doctors, practitioners, clinics, wellness centres, retailers, medical stores, general trade outlets and distributors.
The candidate will be expected to build strong relationships in the market, generate leads, take orders, follow up with customers, develop new counters and support FMCG-style market expansion.
This role requires daily market visits, regular reporting and strong field discipline. High-performing candidates may be considered for larger territory and team-handling responsibilities in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit Ayurvedic doctors, practitioners, clinics and wellness centres.
- Build and maintain a strong practitioner network in Delhi NCR.
- Develop retail, medical store, general trade and distributor channels.
- Generate leads, take orders and follow up with customers.
- Identify new business opportunities in assigned markets.
- Create new counters and support product placement.
- Maintain daily reporting of visits, leads, orders, payments and market feedback.
- Track competitor activity and market trends.
- Achieve monthly sales and market development targets.
- Support local promotional activities and product visibility.
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of field sales experience preferred.
- Experience in MR, pharma sales, Ayurvedic products, OTC healthcare, FMCG, retail sales or distributor sales preferred.
- Comfortable with daily field visits across Delhi NCR.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet doctors, practitioners, retailers and distributors confidently.
- Knowledge of Delhi NCR markets will be preferred.
- Two-wheeler preferred.
- Must be target-oriented, self-driven and disciplined in reporting.
- Basic knowledge of reporting tools like WhatsApp, Excel or Google Sheets preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but strong field sales experience will be given priority.
Compensation
Fixed salary + incentives + travel allowance.
Final salary will depend on experience, market knowledge and performance.
Work Area
Delhi NCR: Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and nearby markets.
Important Note
- This is a field sales role, not a work-from-home or desk sales role. Candidates must be comfortable travelling daily in the market.
