Job Title: Area Manager – Sales
Experience:
· 5 -7 years in Sales, with a focus on Direct Sales, Field Sales, and B2C Sales.
· Proven track record in handling a team and driving revenue within the assigned area.
· Minimum 1–2 years of experience in managing Business Development Managers or similar roles.
Key Skills:
· Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage, mentor, and drive a team towards achieving targets.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Fluency in English/Hindi and proficiency in at least one regional language.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
· Familiarity with the Modular Kitchen Industry or modular product/concept selling industries.
· Existing network with architects, interior designers, or builders is an advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Manage and lead a team of 3–4 Business Development Managers.
· Drive overall revenue generation for the assigned area.
· Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of sales targets.
· Support team members in lead generation, client meetings, and deal closures.
· Generate leads through networking, references, and market expansion initiatives.
· Identify potential customers and business opportunities in the assigned area.
· Conduct face-to-face meetings with key clients to understand requirements and present solutions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
· Analyse customer needs and provide effective solutions.
· Create and manage a sales pipeline for self and team to track and prioritize opportunities.
· Maintain accurate records of team performance and customer interactions.
· Negotiate pricing and terms with customers.
· Ensure team adherence to processes, reporting, and discipline.
· Work towards achieving area-level sales targets and objectives.
